Coherent precession of magnetization in ³He-A in the collisionless region

Magnetization precession in the A phase of ³He near the transition temperature in the collisionless region was investigated. The solution describing a coherently precessing two-domain structure in a nonuniform external field was found. In contrast to the B phase, in the limit of a uniform external field this solution transforms into uniform spin precession. The behavior of the A and B phases of ³He in different regimes (hydrodynamic and collisionless) is compared.
